Regulations Amending the Renewable Fuels Regulations (SOR/2011-143)
About the regulations
These amendments set a date of coming into force of July 1, 2011 for the 2% requirement for diesel fuel and heating distillate oil. This requirement provides further reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, in addition to the reductions estimated from the 5% in gasoline requirement of the regulations.
