Regulations Amending the Renewable Fuels Regulations, 2013 (SOR/2013-187)
About the regulations
These amendments include a permanent nationwide exemption from the 2% renewable content requirement for heating distillate oil for space heating purposes (mostly home heating), as well as a six-month extension to the exemption for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island from the 2% renewable content requirement in both diesel fuel and heating distillate oil, ending June 30, 2013.
