Prohibition of Asbestos and Asbestos Products Regulations [Proposed]

About the regulations

These proposed regulations would prohibit the import, sale and use of asbestos or of products containing asbestos, with a limited number of exclusions. In addition, related amendments to the Export of Substances on the Export Control List Regulations are proposed to restrict the export of all forms of asbestos.
