About the regulations
These regulations limit the concentration of dibenzo-para-dioxin and dibenzofuran in defoamers used by pulp and paper mills. They also prohibit the importation, offer for sale or sale, or the use of wood chips treated with polychlorinated phenols in a pulp and paper mill.
