Following notification, Environment and Climate Change Canada and Health Canada carry out a joint assessment process to determine whether there is a potential for adverse effects on the environment and human health.

This substance was added to the DSL following notification in accordance with the New Substances Notification Regulations (Chemicals and Polymers) or the New Substances Notification Regulations (Organisms) and assessment under CEPA.

This substance meets the Reduced Regulatory Requirement (RRR) polymer criteria prescribed by the New Substances Notification Regulations (Chemicals and Polymers). Any form of the substance that does not meet the RRR polymer criteria is subject to notification under those regulations prior to import or manufacture.
